 The Story of Mr.Babbis the Brave!



This is Mr. Babbis, born in a small Village of Greece. From a very young age he became an orphan from his father so he had to struggle for his survival. He worked hard doing many jobs but his favorite one was making bread, as his mother's daily, fresh and tasty homemade bread. He used to say “You can understand a happy household from the bread they offer on the table...” At the age of 25 he married and got two children, a daughter and a son. At the age of 40, when all the efforts he made in his country failed, took the big decision to immigrate to the other side of the Atlantic, to America, to realize all his dreams.










The first years were very hard for him but Mr. Babbis never gave up. He worked and tried hard and in the end he made it, his dream came true and he opened his own Bakery where he made delicious and fresh-homemade bread exactly like his mother did. Mr. Babbis’ bakery became very famous and everyone visited it to buy their fresh daily bread. Usually every morning his store was very crowded.





Everything was going well until his daughter decided to go back to Greece, and this fact made him very sad. To forget his sorrow and because he was always passionate about exercising, in his free time he worked out very hard at his son's gym, who was a well-known athlete in wrestling, with many awards and medals and world champion in pankration. So Mr.Babbis became an excellent athlete himself in spite of his of age.





He could not get over though his daughter’s absence, so in 2007 he left everything he had accomplished and took his wife and went back to Greece to live the rest of his life  close to his daughter and the rest of his relatives. Unfortunately, the time he decide to go back to Greece wasn't ideal. His country was going through a financial crisis. Mr. Babbis couldn't tolerate this situation and decided to help his Greek fellow citizens. So he took action as a contemporary Super Hero.
